Our little Christmas miracle, Mary Christmas, was rescued by long time friends and on/off volunteers Cat and Bo December 2022. She was just 2-3 months old.

Found at the busy Three Pagodas market, located right next to the Thai/Myanmar border crossing, Mary was close to being trampled by the bustling customers who cared more for cheap souvenirs than this little life.

Mary’s skin was crusty and inflamed when she came to us. We bathed Mary regularly until the skin was better and she was free of fleas, as well as treating her for worms and eventually vaccinating her. As well as being healthy, Mary is also spayed and ready for adoption!

Mary is a wonderfully cheerful dog and has made lots of friends both with dogs and our staff and volunteers! Mary is very active and power-walks her morning walk time, and she melts hearts by selecting a gift of a beautiful stone or twig to present everytime she sees someone approaching her pen!
